RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Solarbotics stands completely behind the products we make. This said we do have a few minor rules regarding taking care of any returns:
All of our kits come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are having some troubles with your Solarbotics kit, we offer assistance in this order:
- Free of charge telephone support: Call us on our toll free line for support. If telephone support doesn't resolve your problem...
- ...We will gladly repair your kit for you. This means we won't finish building it for you, but we'll repair any problems that are causing the failure. This includes parts and labor, for free. Call us to get an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization), ship it back, and we'll take care of the problem.
If you haven’t started on your kit yet, but you would like to return it, contact us first for a RMA number. Then simply return your unused and unopened kit to us, and we'll refund your purchase, minus shipping costs.
Product Support / Refund Policy
If you find any defect with a Solarbotics-manufactured Kit, or you just bought the wrong part, we would be happy to exchange it for you. Solarbotics are happy to offer a 30 day money back guarantee on all products we make. (See above for Kit support).
All products returned must be in resalable condition. Products that have been used, damaged or somehow altered will not be accepted for return and will be shipped back at the owner's expense.
Please call us to arrange return shipping options and to request an RMA. Solarbotics reserves the right not to accept returns after 30 days or to charge a restocking fee of 10%. Please see the Return and Exchange Policy for more information.
Unless explicitly documented, any item returned to Solarbotics Ltd. will not have any associated shipping fees or associated duties refunded. Items returned incurring any fees applied to Solarbotics will be charged back to the customer.
Shipping Robots for Repair
You must have an RMA number before we can accept a return or repair. If a return shows up without an RMA on the box, our shipping department won't accept it, and we will ship it back to you. To arrange for return of a product, first contact technical support at email@example.com or phone us at 1 (866) 276-2687 to determine what is the best course of action. If we determine that your product should be sent back to us, place your item in sturdy packaging, and return to the address at the bottom of the page.
If you are shipping your item back from outside of Canada, we need the customs documentation labeled: 'Items returned for Repair' and place a cost of $5 for Declared Value.
Items not appropriately marked for customs often show up with funds owning. If this happens we will not accept the shipment it, and it will go back to you.Solarbotics Ltd.
